These are two Victorian cast iron post finials, made as architectural fittings for the tops of posts or railings. One carries the Morton Liverpool name, linking it to one of the better recorded British ironwork firms of the 19th century.
The ribbed domed tops, hollow lower bodies and raised cast lettering give them the look of working architectural ironwork They would suit a salvage display, garden room, workshop shelf or collection of British industrial and architectural pieces.
