The Essentials
Description
This is a huge Raslan type Arabic dallah coffee pot, made in the Levant around the mid 20th century. Raslan dallahs are one of the best known Levantine coffee pot types, and this example has Arabic marks on both sides of the body.
The pot has the long crescent spout, high finial and riveted rear handle associated with traditional Arabic coffee serving. At 15 inches tall, it has the scale and profile that makes this a standout example.
