Description
This is a West German Scheurich Keramik vase in the Foligno design, marked 289-27 to the base. The number identifies the form and height, with this version standing at around 27 cm.
The vase has a dark brown and ochre speckled glaze, with raised floral panels running around the body. The ribbed neck, rounded shoulder and glossy relief decoration give it the proper mid-century look.
