Description of the Wooden Prop Sign
This sign is built from three horizontal softwood planks fixed to a long pole. The paintwork features bold stencilled lettering in a deep red intended to stand out under studio lighting, reading PROP STORE across the front.
The surface has developed natural wear from time on set. These signs were placed at access points where props were checked in and out, and the tactile use of this one shows the kind of busy environment it once belonged to. The scale and the preserved paint give it strong visual impact whether displayed in a home, workshop or studio.
Condition
There are areas of wear, scratches and handling marks consistent with its life on a working set. It remains solid, stable and suitable for display.
Why You Should Buy
If you enjoy the chaos of television production this is the sort of honest set piece that brings the backstage world into your own space.
